Sunday 20th May             Greenford P 2    Football League Div 2    1 00        Cuchullians v Moindearg

Two important fixtures for this weekend! The hurlers will hopefully get their fixture against Fr. Murphy’s played after being cancelled on two occasions. The footballers have a vital game in the league and it promises to be another closely fought affair as per their first league game of the season. Directions to Greenford can be found on the club website.

Recovery

Everyone at CuChulainns wishes our Hurling Manager Dom McKenna all the best as he recovers from pneumonia.

Congratulations

The club wishes to send its congratulations to Kieran and Darren Wynne, Johhny Kinch (aka ‘Enjoyin it’) and Padraig Biggane who were all members of the SE Athletic Soccer Team who claimed a league title over the weekend. Well done to all the lads and let’s hope they can have an even more successful season with the footballers this season (and hurlers Pod).

Fixtures for Sunday 22nd April

by Cu Chulainns on April 15, 2012

EDIT: GAMES CANCELLED THIS WEEKEND

As a mark of respect to Eddie Naughton and his family after the passing of his sister Marian, both hurling & football games have been cancelled this weekend. Games will be rescheduled at a later date.

As you know, Eddie is a longtime member and former chairman of our club and is actively involved with the London county board – we ask you to please keep Eddie and his family in your thoughts and prayers at this time.

The funeral will take place this Friday back in their native Roscommon.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh sí.

Next Fixtures are for Sunday 22nd April as follows:

Venue: Goodmayes

1.00pm: Hurling – Ronan Cup: Cuchulainns v Father Murphy’s
2.30pm: Football – McArdle Cup: Cuchulainns v Dulwich Gaels

Well done to the footballers who had a good win today (15th April) in the McArdle Cup against Eire Óg by 6-20 to no score. Lets hope for more of the same next weekend.
