Training
Training Continues for both hurlers and footballers tomorrow evening from 7pm onwards
Footballers
The footballers go into their biggest game of the season this weekend against Saint Anthonys, who currently join us at the top of the championship table. The winner faces the 2nd place team in the other group and with the two clubs playing each other twice this year, both clubs have come away with a victory each.
Saturday 6th August 6pm throw in, Greenford pitch 2. Players to be inside the changing room for 5pm.
Hurlers
Having drawn our first championship match in controversial fashion against Kilburn Gaels, The hurlers have a lot of positives to take with them into this weekends game against Michael Cusaks. Missing 4 or 5 key players earlier in the season, we put up a respectable scoreline in a loss of 3-13 to 4-18 to the favourites for the title. A win would put us in a great position in the championship.
Sunday 7th August 12.30pm throw in, Greenford pitch 2. All players to meet in the changing rooms at 11.45am

The arrival of former Cork senior hurler, Kevin Canty to London, has significantly boosted the Metropolitans chances of collecting silverware this year as the former Rebel starred in last weekend’s Round 1 Nicky Rackard win over Allianz Division 3B champions, Roscommon.
London were minus a number of regulars due to suspension and injury but nevertheless impressed against plucky Roscommon, who regardless of falling 10 points behind early in the second half, staged a late rally to leave just two in it at the end. London [22] 1-19 Roscommon [20] 1-17.
Other newcomers from Tipperay and Galway also impressed for London, and, here to tell us about the game is London GAA Chairman, Tommy Harrell.

Nonetheless, this time around it was a non-contest as London ran out comprehensive winners [38] 6-20 to [13] 1-10, and so continue their present very good vein of form.
Here to give us a rundown on the game and what players impressed for London, and, also fill us in on this weekend’s fixtures at Ruislip is London GAA Chairman, Tommy Harrell.
